Day 1 – Monday 8th June | Arrival in Perth
Your Scottish adventure begins as you make your way to the charming city of Perth. On arrival, check in at the Salutation Hotel, one of Scotland’s oldest established hotels and take time to relax or explore the city at your own pace. In the evening, gather for a welcoming dinner before settling in for the night.
Day 2 – Tuesday 9th June | The Kelpies, Falkirk Wheel & Stirling Castle
After breakfast, we travel south to marvel at the magnificent Kelpies, where a guided tour reveals the inspiration and engineering behind these striking horse-head sculptures. The journey continues to the world-famous Falkirk Wheel, where you’ll experience a unique boat lift ride and visit the interactive visitor centre.
In the afternoon, step back in time at the imposing Stirling Castle, one of Scotland’s grandest fortresses, rich with tales of royalty and rebellion. We return to Perth in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 – Wednesday 10th June | Secrets of the Royal Mile & Edinburgh Castle
Today we venture to Scotland’s capital, Edinburgh. A Mercat Tours guide leads us through the winding closes and hidden stories of the Royal Mile, bringing the city’s colourful past to life. The tour concludes at the majestic Edinburgh Castle, where history, heritage and spectacular views await. After free time to explore the city, we return to Perth for dinner and another restful night at the Salutation.
Day 4 – Thursday 11th June | Loch Lomond Cruise & Glengoyne Distillery
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before we journey to the tranquil waters of Loch Lomond. Here, we board a one-hour cruise, complete with refreshments, to take in the breathtaking Highland scenery. In the afternoon, we visit the Glengoyne Distillery, where a guided tour uncovers the craft behind one of Scotland’s most celebrated single malts. A scenic drive brings us back to Perth for our final dinner together.
Day 5 – Friday 12th June | Departure
After breakfast, it’s time to bid farewell to Perth and begin our journey home. With memories of castles, lochs, whisky and legends, the Wonders of Scotland will remain long after the trip ends. Comfort breaks will be made along the way to ensure a relaxed and pleasant journey home.
