Day One - Friday 10th July
We depart Coalville and travel through scenic countryside to North Wales. On arrival at the Beaufort Park Hotel, enjoy free time to settle in, relax or take a stroll before our evening meal.
Day Two - Saturday 11th July
Our first full day takes us to Plas Newydd House, an elegant mansion set on the Menai Strait with panoramic views of Snowdonia. Discover its fascinating interiors, art collections and landscaped grounds. In the afternoon, we visit the beautifully restored Plas Cadnant Gardens, a hidden treasure of waterfalls, woodlands and colourful borders, often described as one of North Wales’s best-kept secrets.
Day Three - Sunday 12th July
A true highlight of the tour: the world-famous Snowdon Mountain Railway. Sit back and enjoy a return journey to the summit of Wales’s highest mountain. As the train climbs through valleys, forests and dramatic rocky landscapes, the views open up to reveal sparkling lakes and majestic peaks — an unforgettable experience.
Day Four - Monday 13th July
Step aboard the scenic Welsh Highland Railway for a journey from Caernarfon to Porthmadog. Travelling through the heart of Snowdonia, this line takes in stunning mountains, rivers and coastal views. From here, we continue to the enchanting Portmeirion Village, a colourful Italianate-style creation with winding streets, ornamental gardens and breathtaking seaside views. We finish the day at the Inigo Jones Slateworks, where you’ll discover the fascinating story of Welsh slate and see traditional craft demonstrations that keep this heritage alive.
Day Five - Tuesday 14th July
After breakfast, we depart the hotel for the journey home. Enjoy comfort stops en route to stretch your legs and refresh. Arrive back at your original pick-up points in the afternoon.
